Turtle Release Fair is annually held in March at Thai Muang Beach. A celebration takes place for 7 days. During the festival baby turtles raised by the Fisheries Department are released into the sea at Thai Muang Beach.

Turtle Release Fair is the fair to find sea turtles laid their eggs on the beach which are at various locations in the south. The place where they laid them is the west coast or Andaman coast: the west of Phang-Nga, the 100 kilometers long beach. There are many kind of turtles that are hawksbill turtle, green sea turtle, etc. during this time.

The turtles will come up to the shore for laying their eggs 4 times a year. Laying eggs of them is strange and more interesting than other animals. They will lay their eggs in same time and coast in every year except by annoying from human, they will change to nearby.
