Tourists' sites in Yao Island (Koh Yao)

137.6 sq.m. at Yao Island which divide in 2 large islands; Yao-Noi and Yao-Yai Island surrounding with other small islands.

•  Tie-Kud Bay is on Yao-Yai Island decorated by the white sand beach and which is the rocky cape in the north.

•  Lao Pa Rad is on Yao-Yai Island surrounding with shade of coconut trees, including fine white sand along the beach and which is the beautiful rocky high land; ideal for swimming all time.

•  Pa-Sai Beach is 7 kilometers from Yao-Noi Island District with beautiful white sand beach surrounding with shade of trees, ideal for swimming and from the island is a view point from which Krabi can be seen.

•  Tah-Kao Beach is a kilometer from Yao-Noi Island government office which is surrounding with high land and colorful small rocks. Nok Island is not far from Yao-Noi which is a small island and available to walk to this island while low water level and decorated by forest orchids.

•  Klong-Son Bay is on Yao-Yai Island , surrounding with shade of pine trees which is decorated by small colorful rocky and beautiful. Swimming is available and finding different shells at the beach.

•  Sai Bay is on Yao-Yai Island which is the fine beach with rocky and ideal for swimming.

•  Lan Bay is located with beautiful beach surrounding with curve slope cliff on the north coast. Transferring by boat is advised. The water is okay for swimming.

•  Hin-Kong Bay is located on Yao-Yai Island surrounding with shade of Mai-Kiam Forest . There are many baby skates. Swimming is not advised.

•  Nok-Ok Cape located on Yao-Yai Island , a sandy strip dotted with rocks and boulders. Okay for swimming.

•  Kai Island consists of 2 small islands named: Kai Nok and Kai Nai Islands , surrounding with white sand, blue sea, beautiful fish and reef. To get there, should buy island tour with travel agency or boat renting from Sirey Island Pier, Hin Cape Pier or Chalong Bay Phuket.

How to get there

From Bang Rong Pier Moo 3 T. Paklok, A. Thalang, Phuket (10 kms from 2 Heroines Monument) from this point to:

Yao Noi Island : depart from Bang Rong at 10:00 – 12:00 hrs. 3 times daily, fee at 70 Baht and 45 minutes on boat. Boat will arrive at Ma Noh Pier

Yao Yai Island : depart from Bang Rong at 10:00 – 12:00 hrs. 2 times daily, fee at 70 Baht and 45 minutes on boat. Boat will arrive at Chong Laad Pier and Klong Hia Pier

Renting Boat: to Yao Islands and other area, negotiable and reasonable price.

From Hin Cape Pier T. Kohkaew, A. Muang, Phuket

Yao Yai Island : depart from Hin Cape at 14:00 hrs. Daily, fee at 70 Baht and 1 hour and 20 minutes on passenger ship. The ship will drop off at Chong Laad Pier and Klong Hia Pier

From Thian Sin Pier , way to Sirey Island :

Yao Yai Island : Ferry depart from Thian Sin Pier at 10:00 and 14:00 hrs. Daily, fee at 70 Baht and 1 hour on passenger ship. The ferry will drop off at Loh Pier

From Ratsada Pier T. Ratsada, A. Muang Phuket

Yao Yai Island : Ferry departs from Ratsada Pier at 14:00 hrs. from Sunday to Thursday and at 06:00 hrs. on Saturdays, fee at 50 Baht and 1 hour on passenger ship. The ferry will drop off at Loh Pier

From Customs Pier T. Koh Pan Yee, A. Muang Phang-nga

Yao Noi Island : depart from Customs Pier at 12:00 hrs. from Monday to Saturday, fee at 100 Baht and 1 hour and 30 minutes on passenger ship. The boat will drop off at Sukhapibal Pier

From Baan Tha Lane Pier A. Muang Krabi

Yao Noi Island : depart from Baan Tha Lane Pier at 12:00 hrs. Daily, fee at 50 Baht and 1 hour on passenger ship. The boat will drop off at Baan Tha Khao Pier

To Bang Rong, Phuket, depart from Manoh Pier and Sukhapibal Pier at 07:00 and 07:30 hrs. and afterwards about 3-4 boats daily
To Phang-nga Customs Pier, depart at 07:30 hrs. daily
To Tha Lane Pier, Krabi, depart from Tha Khao Pier at 07:30 hrs. Fee at 50 Baht and 1 hour on passenger ship.

From Yao Yai Islands :
To Tha Lane Pier, Krabi, depart from Tha Khao Pier at 07:00 hrs. Fee at 50 Baht and 1 hour on passenger ship.
